Raipur: The delegation of Chhattisgarh Assistant Teachers Association met Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel at his residence office here this evening. After meeting the CM, the assistant teachers have postponed the CM house gherao. Let us inform that more than 50 thousand assistant teachers were going to agitate in the capital for the demand of pay discrepancy. But they have now postponed this movement.

The delegation submitted a memorandum to them regarding their various demands and discussed with them regarding the demands. The Chief Minister assured the delegation that a committee would be constituted under the chairmanship of the Principal Secretary to resolve their problems, which would examine the demands of the Chhattisgarh Assistant Teachers Association and submit its report in three months.

School Education Minister Dr. Premsai Singh Tekam, Principal Secretary, School Education Department, Dr. Alok Shukla were also present on the occasion. The delegation of Chhattisgarh Assistant Teachers Association met the Chief Minister under the leadership of Provincial President Manish Mishra. The delegation included the Federation’s Vice President Shiv Mishra, Secretary Sukhnandan Yadav and General Secretary Kaushal Awasthi.
