Dr. Pramod, teacher of Chhattisgarh’s Eklavya school honored by the President, selected the only teacher of Bastar from the country

Raipur. President Ram Nath Kovind today honored 44 teachers of the country through video conferencing, who set an example by doing exemplary work in the field of education, in the honor ceremony organized on the occasion of Teachers’ Day.

Dr. Pramod Kumar Shukla of Eklavya Model Residential School, Karpavand Jagdalpur, District Bastar of Chhattisgarh was also honored with National Teacher Award 2021 by the President in virtual program. On this occasion, Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, Union State Education Minister Matsya Annapurna Devi, Dr. Subhash Sarkar, Dr. Rajkumar Ranjan Singh attended.

The function was organized at Mantralaya Mahanadi Bhawan here today. Secretary, Scheduled Castes and Tribes Department, D.D. Singh and Commissioner Shammi Abdi presented him medal, citation, shawl and fruits on this achievement of Dr. Shukla and wished him good luck for his bright future.

Secretary D.D. Singh thanked Dr. Pramod Shukla on behalf of the Chhattisgarh government for his dedication and devotion in the field of education. Commissioner Tribal Mati Shammi Abdi said that Dr. Shukla would take us forward the name of the state with his innovation and learning techniques.

President Ram Nath Kovind addressed the teachers on this occasion. He said that I am extremely happy to be a part of the National Teacher Award ceremony. I heartily congratulate and thank all the teachers who received the award today for their distinguished contribution. Knowing about such teachers strengthens my belief even more that the construction of future generations is safe in the hands of our qualified teachers.
