Former CM Raman Singh accused the government of disobedience, then PCC Chief Mohan Markam gave a befitting reply

Gariaband: Former Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh said about the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana that the state government does not have funds, due to which the poor are not getting housing. After attending the plantation program organized at Chhura in Gariaband district today, Raman Singh said that 11 lakh houses were given to the Chhattisgarh government by the central government under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. Which was returned by Bhupesh Baghel’s government. Because even they are not able to give the 40 percent matching grant to them.

He alleged that the poor, working class people of the state are not getting the benefits of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana because of the government here. Raman Singh said that as long as the Congress government remains, the poor will have to worry about housing.

On the allegations of Raman Singh, State Congress President Mohan Markam said that when the Congress government was there, houses have been built in every village under Indira Awas Yojana. He said that whatever amount comes, the Center and the states together make the Prime Minister’s house.
