This situation will continue for another 4 days. There is a possibility of heavy rain at one or two places in the state along with thunderstorms. The area of heavy rainfall is likely to remain mainly over South Chhattisgarh along with Central Chhattisgarh. A low pressure area lies over east-central Bay of Bengal and adjoining north-east Bay of Bengal. With this, the upper air cyclonic circulation is extending up to a height of 7.6 km.

At the same time, there is a possibility of rain in Jabalpur, Shahdol, Sagar, Hoshangabad, Bhopal, Gwalior-Chambal divisions. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a low pressure in the Bay of Bengal, due to which good rains are expected in the state from 15 to 16 September.
