How many targets on the pretext of Lakhimpur? CM Bhupesh and Raman face to face

Raipur: After the death of 8 farmers in the violence that took place in Lakhimpur Kheri in Uttar Pradesh on Sunday, the political atmosphere has been heated in the whole country regarding this incident. Its flame was also seen in Chhattisgarh. When the UP government detained Priyanka Gandhi while stopping her on her way to Lakhimpur, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, taking a stand against the UP government and the BJP, surrounded the BJP by holding a press conference in Delhi. In response to which, former Chief Minister Raman Singh tweeted and took a jibe at the Congress leadership and CM Bhupesh, raising the issue of Silger and asked why senior Congress leaders do not come to Silger. Obviously the issue is related to the farmers and the farmers’ movement. If it is related to the Union Minister and UP, then the war of words between the CM and the former CM will intensify.

The case is of Lakhimpur Kheri district of Uttar Pradesh. Where there is a situation of tension after the death of 8 people in the violence on Sunday. Targeting the Yogi government, the leaders of the opposition party are adamant on the demand of resignation of Union Minister Ajay Mishra. The echo of the protest against the violence that broke out during the farmers’ agitation in Lakhimpur was also heard in Chhattisgarh. In the capital Raipur, Congress workers along with different farmers’ organizations protested and accused the BJP of crushing the farmers’ movement.

Earlier, angry about not getting permission for landing in Lucknow, CM Bhupesh targeted the Yogi government by tweeting. “The government of Uttar Pradesh is issuing a decree not to allow me to come to the state. Have civil rights been suspended in Uttar Pradesh? If Section 144 is in Lakhimpur, then why is the dictatorial government stopping you from landing in Lucknow?

On CM’s tweet, former Chief Minister Raman Singh also retaliated by tweeting that the incident in Lakhimpur Kheri is very sad but is it right to do politics on dead bodies? Many tribal farmers were killed by police firing in Silger of Bastar, they have been agitating for 5 months. But who went to meet Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi and the Chief Minister. Why is this dual approach being adopted? However, before leaving for Delhi, the CM retaliated on Raman Singh’s tweet on the Silger incident.

Obviously, on Saturday itself, the Congress has made Bhupesh Baghel a senior observer of the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections. After which Bhupesh Baghel was about to go to Lakhimpur Kheri, but the UP government did not allow him to land the plane in Lucknow. Condemning the incident of misbehavior with Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, the CM accused the UP Police of committing hooliganism.

However, the politics of Chhattisgarh has also started scorching due to the fire erupted by the Lakhimpur violence. The former Chief Minister and the Chief Minister are once again face to face over the incident. While CM Bhupesh Baghel is demanding the dismissal of the government by calling the Uttar Pradesh government a dictator, on the other hand former Chief Minister Raman Singh is questioning the existence of the Congress government itself.
